CONNECTION
IS THE CURE

The Trauma Informed Community Alliance fosters partnerships throughout Cumberland County, Tennessee, to develop economic, legislative, and healthcare strategies. Our work is focused on building a trauma-informed and resilient community that positively impacts the health and well-being of individuals, children, and families.

Why is Participating in a Community-Wide Approach to Trauma Important?

Provides stability in the workforce and in the home. This leads to reduced transient behavior, fewer eviction incidences, increased economic stability, and improved health outcomes.

Enhances knowledge of available resources in Cumberland County, and increases communication among county agencies and organizations.

Recognizing trauma symptoms can lead to early intervention, which is critical for support services.

Contributes to improving the health and well-being of children and families in Cumberland County.
